Platinum Jubilee

Wednesday 21st July 2021

Good morning all,

In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, seventy years of service, having acceded to the throne on 6th February 1952 when Her Majesty was 25 years old.

I am writing to you regarding a special project with the Royal Collection Trust

I am looking for six members to take part in a regular (weekly) workshop with a focus on previous Jubilees. The sessions will take place from late October to early November. We are not sure how these sessions will run (in person or by zoom) and will depend on social distancing regulations.

The sessions will be recorded.

For those who take part there will be opportunities to special previews and tours (including visit to the Royal Mews, Windsor Castle and, of course, Buckingham Palace) and to take part special events in Platinum Jubilee Weekend in June

Please let me know if you are interested.

Best,

John
