Tea Dance

Tea Dance Video

The 8th Anniversary of the Dragon Hall Tea Dance on 28th February was a great success! The cast of BURN THE FLOOR, a ballroom dance show at the Shaftesbury Theatre gave us a demonstration of some of the numbers in the show – they were absolutely fantastic! Huge thanks go to them, the producers and technical staff for making the day so very, very special.

We were also excited to see the coverage on BBC London News.

Thanks also goes to the Pearly Queen of Islington, Mayor of Camden and Councillor Sue Vincent for coming along to support the festivities. Special thanks also to James Williams who organised a very generous allocation of tickets to a preview performance for the attendees of the tea dance.

A massive WELL DONE to Brian Cornes and his team for 8 years of delivery of music and dancing on the last Thursday in the month – may you continue to cha cha cha for many years to come!

The fantastic Dragon Hall volunteer Sajida was our camera person on the day, here is our video of the event. Enjoy!

In February 2013 it was the 8th Anniversary and we had the stars of ‘Burn the Floor’ a ballroom dance show in the Shaftesbury Theatre, come and give us a preview of the show!
