Digital Workshop Theme

Zoe Lee, from Camden Adult Community Learning, will be providing themed morning workshops for members. This week, in time for Christmas, Zoe will be showing students how to safely shop online. Zoe can either sit with you 1-1 or provide the basics to a group.

Camden and the Great War
An illustrated talk by Tudor Allen:

This talk will explore the ways in which the First World War impacted on the lives of the people of Hampstead, Holborn and St Pancras, the areas that today form the London Borough of Camden. Tudor Allen is Senior Archivist at Camden Local Studies and Archives Centre.

Aromatherapy: Lotions & Potions for Health and Wellbeing
Tuesday 17th January 2023 (six-week workshop)
Aromatherapy with Micha Christmann is back!
Confused about essential oils? This course is ideal for anyone wanting to understand what they are, how they work and how to use them safely. This course aims to give you the skills to make your own health and beauty products and to enhance your well-being. The course is designed for total beginners and those with previous experience who wish to refresh their skills.
In each session we will be looking at the benefits of 2 different essential oils, learn different aspects of aromatherapy and make one product, including face cream, face scrub, serums and bath salts for you to take home.
Cost: £2 per workshop; £12: total

Upcoming exhibition Two Temple Place
Saturday 28 January – Monday 27 February
Inside: A Two Temple Place & Thorp Stavri Exhibition.
Developed from a Summer 2022 research residency at Two Temple Place, this four-week exhibition will showcase 10 contemporary artists working in sculpture, installation, painting, photography, VR and film. Each artist has produced a brand new body of work in response to the eccentric architecture of Two Temple Place and its complex historic narratives, using the artists’ responses to the building and its ideological challenges to shape work for its rooms.
