Sunday 29th March 2020 – Day Six

John is emailing our users daily…

Good afternoon all, apologies for the late update! It was a combination of a number of factors; the clocks going forward, me doing an extra long work out, having to finish an Open University assignment and having a virtual breakfast with Charlotte – which was a lovely way to start the morning!

Thank you to everyone who has let me know that they are OK. 102 of you have responded, however, there are still many, many who haven’t as yet. Please when you get a minute, just reply!

Thank you, as always, to everyone who has shared with me their suggestions, ideas, advice and links.

From Stephen:
We know that all our deliveries have probably been handled and breathed over by a number of people before they reach us.  We also know that the coronavirus can remain active on various surfaces for a few hours up to a few days. So I am putting all my deliveries including bags, boxes, containers and post (excluding perishables) into quarantine for as long as possible up to three days.  You don’t have to handle them until you need them.
For residents of Westminster, the City Council is offering a wide range of help through their coronavirus help page.

Mutual Aid Groups have sprung up all over Westminster and Camden.  Their volunteers can provide help on the ground. You can find your local Mutual Aid Group.

It has been a long week for many of us, so if you do need to talk to someone, please let me know and I can arrange for a regular telephone call from the team. If you have an emergency and don’t know who to turn, do please give me a ring.I am taking a break, might go for a walk or might just curl up on the sofa!Lastly from Sheila, the Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest (from us, for you)
