CAUGHT BETWEEN TWO WORLDS

CAUGHT BETWEEN TWO WORLDS

Drawing on the memoirs and archives of two remarkable women, this illustrated talk with readings explores London’s Italian quarter, based in Holborn and Clerkenwell, in the turbulent period between the two world wars, examining the impact of the warring ideologies of fascists and leftwing factions on individual lives.

The speakers and performers are Melanie Hughes, actress and author of “War Changes Everything” and Nadia Ostachini, actress and producer of Tricolore Theatre Company.

This Camden Local Studies and Archives event lasts one hour and will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
