Symphony of Sorrowful Songs

Symphony No. 3 Op. 36.
From the depth of sorrow comes the sublime. A meaningful meditation on motherhood, love and loss, Symphony of Sorrowful Songs adapts texts in Polish taken from sources spanning the centuries, giving perspectives from both a mother having lost their child, and a child separated from their parents.

I have 30 FREE tickets for this ENO performance. Running Time; 55mins – There is no interval.

FREE concert from Live Music Now

Thursday 18th May 1:30 (Dragon Hall)

Dragon Hall is delighted to be working in partnership with Live Music Now and offer a FREE concert provided by the Baluji Music Foundation Inner Vision Orchestra. The Inner Vision Orchestra was founded in 2012 and is the world’s only professional ensemble of blind musicians.

“mideasy” is an oud percussion and vocal trio who have been working together for more than ten years. Fereshteh is a Persian singer who knows how to capture the attention of her audiences. Ghow is a percussion player and sings Tamil songs. Ziad is a singer and oud player with years of experience on stage. They sing songs from their countries in their own languages ranging from folk to romantic songs and together they form a unique blend of music which brings joy. They’ve toured the United Kingdom, Qatar with the Inner Vision orchestra.

Tea Dance

Saturday 22nd April 13:00 – 15:30

Come along and get your dancing shoes and join Edurne as she leads our next Tea Dance. A mixture of a dance workshop and social dancing, mixed with tunes from the 60’s. 70’s, 80’s and beyond.

I have TWO SPACES LEFT. Please note that the dance will be at CGCC at 7 Dials Club NOT Dragon Hall.
