Decopatch session at CGCC

Club Thursdays at Seven Dials Club / CGCC

Posted by editor in Events, Seniors

Last week members of the 7 Dials Thursday Club were introduced to the art of making trinket boxes with Decopatch. Decopatch is a decorative fab and funky papercraft, a bit like paper Mache only much prettier! The modern twist on decoupage, it breathes life into objects, using a special paper and glue-varnish.

Kathy, the tutor from the Mary Ward Adult Education Centre, spent an enjoyable two hours with the group, showing, them step by step, how to produce a keepsake to hold those special heirloom pieces, jewellery and other important personal items.

Please see our website for future taster sessions organised at 7 Dials. Future sessions include Mindfulness and meditation, talks and Latin dancing.
