Internet Radio production at Dragon Hall

Radio Active 101 promoting the engagement, informal learning and employability of disenfranchised young people through internet radio and social media.

Dragon Hall’s flagship Radio Active 101 in collaboration with University of East London producing Radio content for broadcasts involving young people from Dragon Hall, Soho Parish Primary School, The Squad in Merton & Cricket Green School in Merton, St Josephs Primary School and St Clement Danes Primary in Covent Garden – the children and young people have learnt about presenting, editing, interviewing and general broadcasting skills.

Each Thursday youth work staff from Dragon Hall travel to Wimbledon to support a learning disability youth club called The Squad. Working with young people aged 16 to 25, The Squad provides some of the most vulnerable people in society with a youth club where they can meet their friends and try new things. They are contributing material to Radio Active 101 for our broadcasts.
