Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays see the Junior group come to Dragon Hall from 3:30pm to 6pm. Staff go to 3 of the local primary schools and walk the young people over to Dragon Hall. We collect from St. Josephs and St Clement Danes.
The young people do an hour of Homework supported by our fantastic volunteers and staff and then other activities like Sport – dodgeball, mini olympics and French cricket. Arts and crafts, cinema club and trips out and about.
The Junior Club is led by Keeley Reed and supported by Abdul Samad with the help of our sessional workers and a team of volunteers.
Dragon Hall offers high quality play, informed learning and developmental opportunities for children and young people to learn, explore, create and socialise in a safe and secure space. To enable young people to challenge negative preconceptions and the deficit model through showcasing their talents, effort and contribution. AND it’s free.
Dragon Hall take young people to the local parks, to events, the theatre and cinema and to visit local businesses. They have the opportunity to fund raise for projects they want to set up and to meet other community and youth groups. Our groups also write, record and contribute to our internet Radio project – Radio Active 101 – See the RadioActive101 website
